dropchan Guide

I know NFTs, but I am new to XRPL

Learn what is different about NFTs on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), then follow the steps to bring home a dropchan.

What is different on XRPL?

Fast transactions and low fees

XRP transactions are fast, with low network fees—usually less than ¥1—and reliable network operation.

Use an XRPL-compatible wallet

You will need an XRPL-compatible wallet. This guide uses Xaman. If you prefer a browser-extension wallet, Trust Wallet is another option.

XRPL has a reserve requirement

Separate from transaction fees, XRPL temporarily locks some XRP as a reserve for your account and certain features. This guide suggests keeping about 2 extra XRP available as a buffer.

You may need to claim your NFT
